New to our church? Welcome!
Here are some fast facts and information that might be helpful:
- The Divine Service is celebrated each Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m.
- We follow one of the traditional Orders of Service from the
Lutheran Service Book hymnal, according to our rich Lutheran heritage.
- The Lord's Supper is offered at each Divine Service.
- Ample Parking is available off-street: There are visitor spots near the front door, designated by the red signs, just for you.
- Each week, we print a bulletin with an outline of the Order of
Service, containing helpful information to assist you in following the
service in the hymnal. These are available from the usher or greeter as
you're entering the sanctuary.
- Restrooms for men and women are located in the lower level.
- An elevator is available in the entryway for those who need it, allowing access to the sanctuary and the lower level Fellowship Hall
- Children are welcome in our service!
- If you have any questions about how things are done or what's
happening, the members in the pews around you would be happy to assist
you... just ask.
- Bible Class meets in the Fellowship Hall just below the church
immediately following the conclusion of the closing announcements. All
are welcome, and the topic for the day will be announced in the
bulletin.
Our congregation practices closed communion,
recognizing that participation in the Sacrament of the Altar (the
Lord's Supper or Holy Communion) unites us not only with our Lord and
the "whole company of heaven" but with one another and with what is
taught at this church. If you are not a member of a sister congregation
in the Lutheran Church -- Missouri Synod, please speak to Pastor Ferry
before joining us at the altar.
